When do you do chores? In the mornings and at night.
What is your favorite and least favorite chore? My favorite chore is probably driving tractor. My least favorite is being in with the cows and getting splattered with poop.
What project (besides daily chores) do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Pressure washing.
Tell us a fun memory you have of living on the farm. Driving the four-wheeler.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? Tell us about it. Cows. I like them because they are like a big dog and are friendly.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Maybe a veterinarian.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. I’d have lots of cows, a horse and dogs and fainting goats. There would be no cats.
What is your favorite game to play on the farm? We play basketball in the shop.
What is your favorite meal that your mom or dad makes? Bug surprise. Once, my dad made a hotdish with stuffing and alfredo in it in the slow cooker. The stuffing had bugs in it, but he didn’t realize it. There was extra protein.
What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Hunting, sports or going on vacation.
Are you involved in activities? What is your favorite and why? I am in volleyball, basketball and track, but I’m not doing basketball this year.

When do you do chores? I help my older sister occasionally with calf bottles.
What is your favorite and least favorite chore? My favorite is helping to feed calves. My least favorite is being around flies.
What project (besides daily chores) do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Going out to get the mail.
Tell us a fun memory you have of living on the farm. Going on Ranger rides and petting kittens.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? Tell us about it. I like the dogs, Jack and Sarge.
What do you want to be when you grow up? An artist.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. It would have dogs, cats, horses, chickens and bunnies.
What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Stack up my family’s mismatched socks.
What is your favorite meal that your mom or dad makes? Toast.
What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Swimming.
Are you involved in activities? What is your favorite and why? I was in a bike camp this summer, which I liked.

When do you do chores? Every day morning and night.
What is your favorite and least favorite chore? There is one calf who makes me not want to do bedding. My favorite is probably giving feed.
What project (besides daily chores) do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? I like sometimes helping them with tractors.
Tell us a fun memory you have of living on the farm. Biking around and being able to ride the four-wheeler. Sometimes I ride our heifers like a rodeo bull.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? Tell us about it. Probably a cow because they pretty much keep us alive.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A dairy farmer.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. Two silos, a pretty big barn, some cows, a line of hutches and a few sheds.
What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Tracking down a cow and calf.
What is your favorite meal that your mom or dad makes? Eggs, pancakes and bacon.
What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Sometimes we’ll go on little trail rides.
Henry Sexton
11 years old
Sixth grade
When do you do chores? Normally at 7 or 8 a.m. and 4-5 at night.
What is your favorite and least favorite chore? My least favorite is to push calves through a feeder because they kick. My favorite is weed eating.
What project (besides daily chores) do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Cooking and cleaning guns and stuff. I also like to drive the skid loader once or twice.
Tell us a fun memory you have of living on the farm. Shooting guns.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? Tell us about it. My favorite is probably one of our cats, Pickles. He’s weird. He sounds like a frog when he meows.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A gun specialist.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. Kind of like this, just a simple farm. I don’t want to be a super big farm. I would like to just be a little town farm. I would have cows.
What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Playing little tractors with my little brother.
What is your favorite meal that your mom or dad makes? Cheesy potatoes.
What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Ranger rides.
