When do you do chores? At night and sometimes in the mornings.

What is your favorite chore and least favorite chore? My favorite chore is milking cows. My least favorite chore is picking rocks, because you’re out in the heat, or bedding calves.

What project do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Working the fields.

What is your favorite part about farm life during the summer? Having campfires.

What is your favorite animal on your farm? Our dog, Kobe. He is an energetic black lab.

What do you want to be when you grow up? A farmer.

If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. It would look like our farm. I would milk 120 cows in a parlor, have a freestall barn and a heifer barn and chickens.

What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Kickball.

What is your favorite dairy treat? Any kind of cheese; they’re all good.

What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Go to fairs.

Are you involved in any activities? What’s your favorite? What do you enjoy about it? I play golf. I like it because I get to golf with some of my friends.

Fifth grade

When do you do chores? At night.

What is your favorite chore and least favorite chore? My favorite chore is washing calf pails because I get my alone time. My least favorite chore is cleaning cow stalls because there are big spots of pee in the sand bedding. It clumps together and I have to shovel it all out.

What project do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Milking the cows.

What is your favorite part about farm life during the summer? Getting to go to farm shows and fairs.

What is your favorite animal on your farm? A calf named Smalls. She is so playful. She was born early and was really small.

What do you want to be when you grow up? A teacher.

If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. It would have New Holland tractors, 120 cows, some goats, sheep, a dog and pigs.

What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Playing catch with my brother.

What is your favorite dairy treat? Mint chocolate chip ice cream.

What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Go to Wisconsin Dells.

Are you involved in any activities? What’s your favorite? What do you enjoy about it? I play softball. I like it because I get to see all my friends.

What is your favorite chore and least favorite chore? My favorite chore is watching our dog, Kobe. My least favorite chore is scraping the poop.

What project do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Feeding calves with Mom.

What is your favorite part about farm life during the summer? Being outside.

What is your favorite animal on your farm? Mama Kitty. When I put my hand down, she rubs her head on it.

What do you want to be when you grow up? A doctor.

If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. It would have goats, cows, pigs, cats, chickens and dogs.

What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Riding my bike down the ramps in the calf barn.

What is your favorite dairy treat? Strawberry ice cream.

What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Go to the zoo.
