Gruber girls gather for chores

Kaylie Gruber and her daughters, Avery (left) and Macy, take a break from chores in the freestall barn July 16 on Gruber Dairy near Pierz, Minnesota. Oftentimes, the trio milks together in their double-9 rapid flow flat parlor. Kaylie and her husband, Bob, milk 260 cows and farm 500 acres. During milking, Bob put sand down in their free-stall barn. The Grubers also have two younger sons, Brock and Nolan.
