Do you know the type of friends that you don't get to see often, but when you do, you pick up right where you left off?
I'm lucky enough to have two great friends in my life, and I get to call one of them sister too.
We grew up together, showed in 4-H together, worked together, were in each other's weddings, celebrated together, mourned together and have shared so many memories.
There's not a single favorite memory or time in my life that these two aren't in. We share a lot of the same interests, one of them being horses.
This past weekend the three of us arranged to take a trip to Madison, Wisconsin. We experienced State Street Saturday night and a fabulous hotel with the Capitol in view.
Sunday, we ventured to the Midwest Horse Fair, which included shopping, horse watching, more shopping and great food. This trip just added to the many wonderful memories we all share, and I look forward to many more.
Great friends are a true pillar in life. I am beyond thankful for the time I get to share with mine.
