When do you do chores? After school and on the weekends.
What is your favorite and least favorite chore? My favorite is feeding the cats because they are cute. My least favorite is feeding chickens.
What project do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Cattle work, like drying up cows and moving cows.
Tell us a fun memory you have of living on the farm. When we first moved here in May 2020, all of our family members helped us move into the house.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? The cats. I like petting them and their cute faces.
What do you want to be when you grow up? I think it would be really cool to be an artist.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. I would have 100 cows, 20 cats, 17 calves and 30 heifers. I’d have a barn for all the heifers, calves and cows. I’d also have a parlor for the cows.
What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Hide and seek.
What is your favorite meal that your mom or dad makes? My mom’s homemade pizza.
What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Go out to eat and go to a hotel.

Third grade
When do you do chores? In the evenings and on weekends.
What is your favorite and least favorite chore? My favorite is mixing feed with my dad. My least favorite is working with the chickens.
What project do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Helping them drive the Gator.
Tell us a fun memory you have of living on the farm. Climbing on the hay bales with my cousins.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? Larry the steer. He has green ear tags, which is my favorite color. He is friendly.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A dairy farmer.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. It would have a dry cow pen with 60 cows, tall silos, a mono-slope barn with 30 heifers and a calf barn with 20 calves.
What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Hide and seek.
What is your favorite meal that your mom or dad makes? Noodles.
What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Go to a hotel.

Kindergarten
When do you do chores? On the weekends and when I get home from school.
What is your favorite and least favorite chore? My favorite is taking care of Strawberry, my heifer. She has pink ear tags and is a Red & White. Feeding chickens is my least favorite.
What project do you enjoy helping your parents with on the farm? Moving cattle.
Tell us a fun memory you have of living on the farm. When I first got Strawberry. She was born right before my birthday July 5, 2023.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? Strawberry. I showed her at the Southern Minnesota Youth Dairy Show in New Ulm. I like that she’s kind and sweet.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A horse and cow farmer.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. It would have a tall silo, 10 horses, 10 cows, five cats, five foals and five calves. It would have a big, huge barn and a dry cow pen with some heifer pens and a calving pen in the barn.
What is your favorite game to play on the farm? Hide and seek and tag.
What is your favorite meal that your mom or dad makes? My mom’s dumpling soup.
What is your favorite thing to do off the farm with your family? Go to hotels and swim.
