3 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/3 cup cocoa
3/4 cup salad oil
2 teaspoons vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups water
Peanut Butter Frosting:
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/3 cup milk
Add sifted flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking soda to an ungreased 9- by 13-inch pan. Make three wells into the dry ingredients and add oil, vinegar and vanilla. Pour water over all of the ingredients and blend thoroughly with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Once cake is fully cooled, make peanut butter frosting by mixing powdered sugar, peanut butter, vanilla and milk together until smooth.
