13 ounces evaporated milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups pumpkin
1 yellow cake mix, dry
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 cup chopped nuts

Combine the first six ingredients and pour into a greased 9- by 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the mixture. Melt butter and drizzle over cake mix. Top with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. If getting too dark, cover with foil towards the end of the baking time. After cooled, cut into squares and refrigerate until served.
