1/2 cup butter
1 small package of Oreo cookies
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 can evaporated milk (12 ounces)
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 bar German sweet chocolate
  (4 ounces)

Mix 1/2 cup of melted butter and a small package of crushed Oreo cookies together and spread on the bottom of a 9-by-13 pan. Freeze. Spread 1/2 gallon of soft vanilla ice cream on top of Oreo cookie crust. Freeze again. Boil together 1 can of evaporated milk, 1/2 cup melted margarine, 1 cup sugar and bar of German chocolate. Mix and boil for 15 minutes stirring constantly. When cool, spread on ice cream. Freeze again. Optional: Top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Do boiling step first so it cools by the time you are ready for it.
