6 medium yellow onions
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

    Cut onions into very thin rings. Sauté in butter until tender. Place in greased 8-inch dish. In small saucepan, combine beef broth, whipping cream, flour, salt and pepper. Warm until smooth. Pour over onions. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
