2 pounds ground beef
1 teaspoon minced garlic
12 ounces cottage cheese
5 cups shredded mozzarella
3 cups shredded cheddar
1 egg
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 package oven-ready lasagna
  noodles
45 ounces pasta sauce

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brown the ground beef with the minced garlic and set aside. In a separate container, combine cottage cheese, egg, basil and parsley. In a 9-by-15 lasagna pan, start with 1 cup of sauce on the bottom, three lasagna noodles, ground beef, cottage cheese mixture and both cheeses. Put more sauce over the layer and keep repeating the process until ingredients are gone. Bake 1 ½ hours.
