1 roll of crescent rolls
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons sugar

Spray an 8-by-8-inch pan, and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Unroll the crescents and press half in the bottom of the pan in one layer. Use an electric mixer to mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Spread the mixture over the crescents. Top with the other crescents. Brush on melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Chill and cut into squares.
