1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup beef broth or water
1/2 cup quick-cooking or
  old-fashioned oats
 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash salt-free
  seasoning, any flavor
2 pounds ground beef (or a mix
  of beef and sausage)
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Combine in a large bowl all except the beef/sausage and sauce ingredients. Crumble beef/sausage over mixture and mix well. Pat into a 9-by-13 pan. Combine sauce ingredients, if using, and pour over meatloaf (can save some for serving). Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until a thermometer reads 165 degrees.
