2 (8 ounces) packages cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup beer or non-alcoholic beer
1 envelope Ranch salad dressing powder mix, original
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Mix all ingredients well and refrigerate. Makes 3.5 cups. Great on snack crackers.

If it seems too stiff, I add a little more beer. It could be used with vegetables. I divide in two small serving bowls and cover to refrigerate, and then it’s all ready to serve.
