    VIROQUA, Wis. – Upper Midwest Jersey enthusiasts gathered for the 21st annual Wisconsin Spring Spectacular Jersey Show May 3-4 in Viroqua, Wis.
    Robert Jarrell, of Corbyville, Ontario, served as the official judge for the show, placing 104 head of Jerseys from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.    
    At the end of the day, the winning 4-year-old cow was named senior and grand champion of both the open and youth divisions. Norse Star Scout 4857 was exhibited by Lilly Johnson and Linehan Jerseys of River Falls, Wis.
    The winning junior 2-year-old and intermediate champion, Gil-Bar Premier Wendy 43-ET, was selected as the reserve grand champion. She was also named the best bred and owned cow of the show for Gil-Bar Farm of Janesville, Wis.
    Reserve senior and honorable mention grand champion honors in the open show went to K&R Premier Sunlight, the winning 5-year-old cow exhibited by the Randy Drinkall family of Rushford, Minn.
    Ratliff Premier Deva-ET took home a collection of awards for owners Sawyer and Olivia Brandenburg of Fort Atkinson, Wis. Deva was named reserve intermediate champion of the open division and reserve grand champion of the youth division.
    In the heifer show, top honors of junior champion in the open division went to the winning spring yearling Woodmohr She Prime. Her herdmate and winning fall yearling, Woodmohr Lady Victory, took home reserve junior champion honors. Both heifers are owned by Woodmohr Jerseys of Bloomer, Wis.
    Townside Norman Kookie, the top junior-owned winter yearling, was named the youth division junior champion for Noah Bilz of Dorchester, Wis.
    Lucas Redalen, of Rushford, Minn., took home the youth show reserve junior champion honors with his winning summer yearling Schulte Bros Teq Gem-ET.
    Woodmohr Jerseys and Smokin Hot Genetics, of Norwalk, Wis., tied for the premier breeder banner, while Woodmohr was named the premier exhibitor of the show. Calli and Wyatt Storms, of Muscoda, Wis., were named the junior premier exhibitor of the show.
    A youth showmanship contest was held Friday afternoon. The junior age division was won by Ana Mikkelson, of Stoughton, Wis.; the intermediate age division was won by Brock Hoskins, of Westby, Wis.; and the senior division was won by Sydney Kaufmann, of Stratford, Wis.
