When do you do chores? After school when I do not have football or wrestling practice and on the weekends.
What is your favorite chore and least favorite chore? My favorite chore is fieldwork because it is easy, and I like driving the tractor. My least favorite chore is weed whacking because I sweat a lot and it takes forever.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? I like all our cows. They are easy to handle and they are smart, so they will listen.
What is your favorite subject in school? I like math because I am good at it. It is my best subject.
What is something you have learned in school recently? In English, we are learning about the Holocaust. At the end of October, my whole class is going to Washington, D.C., for a week to see things like the Holocaust museum, the Washington Monument and The White House. We are also going to Gettysburg.
What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a dairy farmer.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. I would have a dairy with 100-150 cows. I would have the same set-up as we have here – a double-16 parallel parlor with a freestall barn and lots of pasture for grazing.
What is your favorite dairy treat? Vanilla ice cream.
What is your favorite game to play at home/on the farm? I like to wrestle with my little cousins and pick on them. I’m the oldest cousin of our two families here.
Are you involved in any activities? What is your favorite? What do you enjoy about it? I am in wrestling, football and FFA. My favorite is wrestling. I like that so many of my family – a lot of my cousins – wrestle, too. It is fun to be around people in my grade and cheer everyone on. It’s fun being a part of a successful program.

When do you do chores? I do chores in the evenings after school and on the weekends. I also do my own goat chores every morning before school.
What is your favorite chore and least favorite chore? My favorite chore is feeding my two goats because it is easy and because they are mine. My least favorite chore is washing down the parlor because it’s a pain to drag the hose around.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? My two goats, Jerry and Ellie. They like to climb on the roof of the garage and eat anything but the grass in their pen. I like them because they are mine, and they’re cute and fluffy. They are Nigerian Dwarf goats.
What is your favorite subject in school? I like agriculture because the teacher is really nice, and the class teaches me more information about agriculture outside my family’s farm.
What is something you have learned in school recently? In math, I have learned how to simplify exponents, and use positive and negative exponents. I like math, but it gets hard.
What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to own an animal rescue for small animals like dogs, cats, chickens, gerbils and guinea pigs. If people found them or did not want them anymore, I would take them in so we could find them a new home.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. I would have 10 pigs, 10 chickens, 10 goats and 10 sheep along with a 50-cow dairy herd. I would have robots to milk my cows so I wouldn’t have to be there to do it.
What is your favorite dairy treat? Chocolate ice cream.
What is your favorite game to play at home/on the farm? Nothing specific. I just like goofing around with my cousins.
Are you involved in any activities? I am in FFA and yearbook.

What is your favorite chore? I like riding in the tractor with Dad when he is hauling manure.
What is your favorite animal on your farm? The cows. All of them. We have a lot.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. I would have a big farm with a barn with cows, goats, baby kitties and bigger kitties.
What do you like to do while your older siblings are in school? I like to help Mommy cook food and help wash dishes. I also like to snuggle with Mom.
