    There have been so many events we have attended in June. I cannot help but feel there are a few things in common that have made them all successful: family, friends and great weather. With five Saturdays in June, there were plenty of good times to be had by all.

        We have crammed a lot in the month of June. Between end of school farm tours, weekends going to dairy breakfasts, family tours, board meetings, our son’s wedding in Seattle June 22, and then the grand finale, our dairy farm open house June 29.

        Last night, I finally got a good night of sleep. Many nights, I lay awake thinking about all the stuff to do. The list of stuff that needs to be done while the weather is nice, the list of stuff to get done this summer, and the list that never seems to end.
