        The candy platters are finally cleared. The cookie stash in the freezer is almost empty. Unfortunately, I think I ate more than my share of treats this holiday season.

        This year’s harvest season has been placed on a rain delay. I hope it is just a temporary break. It seems we can’t put together at least four days of clear skies, sunshine and drying winds.
