Kid's Corner: The Betchers

When do you do chores and what do you do? In the evenings, I feed calves.
What are your favorite and least favorite chores? My favorite is feeding buckets because they go fast. My least favorite is bottles because you have to wait for milk.
Do you have a favorite animal on your farm? Baseball the calf. He has been tame since birth.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A farmer.
If you had your own farm, what would it look like? I would have a horse stable, goat and sheep barn, pig pen and a cow barn with a nursery.
What is the best thing about growing up on a dairy farm? You have so much room outside.
What is your favorite snack or dairy treat? String cheese.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? Pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
What do you like to do on your Thanksgiving break? Relax and be with family.
Alexis Betcher

When do you do chores and what do you do? At night time. I help bring cows to the milking barn, pick up milk pails and keep the puppy entertained.
What are your favorite and least favorite chores? My favorite is keeping the puppy entertained because it is fun.
Do you have a favorite animal on your farm? Our new puppy, Chloe, and the kitties. They are all so cute.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A farmer.
If you had your own farm, what would it look like? It would have a petting zoo with horses, two dogs and cows.
What is the best thing about growing up on a dairy farm? Having lots of animals around.
What is your favorite snack or dairy treat? Everything but mostly ice cream.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? Corn and mashed potatoes with lots of butter.
What do you like to do on your Thanksgiving break? Stay at home.
