Vanilla Pudding

1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
Blend together the flour, sugar and salt. Add milk to make smooth. Then, add eggs and beat well. Cook over medium heat until thick and boiling. Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter. Cool.
For chocolate pudding, increase the sugar to 1 cup and add 3 Tbsp. of cocoa. For Butterscotch pudding, use 1/2 cup of brown sugar instead of white sugar.[[In-content Ad]]
