Rhubarb Cake
Elizabeth Golombiecki, Morris, Minn., Stevens County Dairy Princess
1 cup brown sugar
1⁄2 cup butter
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour milk
2 cups flour
2 cups rhubarb, chopped
cinnamon-sugar mixture, to sprinkle top of cake
Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease 9x13 inch pan. Cream together both sugars and butter. Add egg and mix together. Mix in all remaining ingredients and pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.[[In-content Ad]]
