MADISON - The deadline to register for the International Value-Added Feed Ingredients Buyers Mission during World Dairy Expo is Friday, September 6. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) asks companies to sign-up now to have the opportunity to meet with buyers from seven different countries.

The buyers mission will be held from September 30 through October 3 at the Concourse Hotel in Madison. Buyers missions offer a low-cost opportunity to meet one-on-one with multiple buyers in one location in Madison without the cost of traveling overseas. The meetings allow companies to build relationships with potential distributers and gain immediate feedback about product potential.

Countries represented by buyers at this year's mission include Brazil, China, Colombia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and Vietnam. Buyers have been pre-qualified that they have import capabilities and/or distribution authority.

Buyers have shown interest in products such as milk replacers, soybean meal, pro-biotics, corn gluten meal, pre-mixed feeds, alfalfa meal and pellets, vitamins and minerals, whey protein, meat bone meal, trace minerals, amino acids, enzymes, supplements and value-added feeds.
