Second grade
When do you do chores and what chores do you do? I do chores on the weekends. I help push the buttons to run the barn cleaner and the manure pump. I also scrape the barn walk, lime the walk and sweep the manager.
What is your favorite chore and your least favorite chore? Why? My favorite chore is being in charge of the barn cleaner because it's the main chore I do. It's fun to push the buttons. My least favorite chore is scraping the walk way because it's the dirtiest chore.
What's your favorite animal on your farm? Tell us about it. I don't have one favorite. I like all the cows. I like that they're milk producers. I drink a lot of white milk.
What's your favorite subject in school and why? Math, because I like solving problems.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A dairy farmer.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. It would look just like this one because I would take it over. My mom and dad can live in the attic.
What's your favorite dairy treat? String cheese.
What is your favorite winter activity? Sledding. We have big hills on our farm.
What do you want for Christmas? Hot wheels and Lego City Garage.
What are you looking forward to doing over winter break? Christmas parties with family and eating good food, especially cookies and cake.

Pre-Kindergarten
When do you do chores and what chores do you do? I do chores when Bo does them - on the weekends. I help Bo with the barn cleaner. I also play on my pedal tractor with our dog, Cheyenne.
What's your favorite chore and least favorite chore? Why? I like helping my dad drive the skidsteer. It's fun because the skidsteer doesn't have a steering wheel. I don't like fixing things because it's too much work.
What's your favorite animal on your farm? Tell us about it. I like the ants that live outside. I like them because they are black and I like to watch them build their ant homes. I call it an ant zoo.
What's your favorite subject in school and why? I like drawing. We draw different creatures like lady bugs and lizards so we get to know what they are.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A construction worker.
If you had a farm, describe what it would look like. My farm would have all the same silos as our farm and the barn would be the same size, but with big windows the length of the barn. My barn would have a hay mow with triangle windows. I would have cows, horses, chickens, pigs and a dog named Chef.
What's your favorite dairy treat? Vanilla ice cream.
What is your favorite winter activity? Snowmobiling. I've never been snowmobiling or seen it very often, but I like the idea.
What do you want for Christmas? A stuff animal reindeer and a John Deere toy tractor.
What are you looking forward to doing over winter break? Resting.
