Hip Padder Bars


Filling:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Crust:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Heat the filling ingredients until the chocolate chips are melted. Then set aside to cool. Mix the crust ingredients together. Place half of the crust mixture in a 9x13 inch pan. Pour the chocolate chip filling over top. Sprinkle the remainder of the crust on top. Cover with nuts if you want. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. This freezes well.
