LAKE LILLIAN, MN-(September 30, 2011) - Hanson Silo LP, a leading manufacturer of feed storage and handling systems for the dairy and beef markets, announced today that the Company has acquired the Easy Rake Facer (easyrakefacer.com) from Riverview LLP of Morris, MN.
Riverview is an employee owned dairy producer, who invented the Easy Rake silage facer to solve a need at their own farm. Riverview owned various mechanical facers that demanded a great deal of maintenance and reduced silage particle length which hurts milk production. Riverview's patented Easy Rake was designed with no moving parts, to preserve silage particle length and offers a quick hook up with no hoses to attach.
Hanson is integrating the Easy Rake dealer network which currently spans from California to New York.
