Frozen Ice Cream Delight

1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
2 cups confectioner's sugar
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1 12-ounce can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 carton (8 ounces) whipped topping
Combine two cups of cookie crumbs with butter and sugar. Press onto the bottom of a 9- by 13-inch dish. Freeze for 15 minutes.
Spread ice cream over crumbs. Freeze around three hours.
In a small saucepan, combine confectioner's sugar, chocolate chips, butter and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil, boiling eight minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Cool to room temperature.
Spoon sauce over ice cream layer. Sprinkle with peanuts or chocolate chips. Freeze until firm. Spread whipped topping over the top. Then sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs. Freeze at least three hours before serving.[[In-content Ad]]
