Egg Brunch

1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese
12 eggs
3 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ham or bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
Grease a 9- by 13-inch pan. Layer bread cubes in bottom of pan. Shred the cheeses and place over the bread. Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper in large bowl and pour over bread and cheese in pan. Spread ham or bacon over the top and cover with aluminum foil. Let stand in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours (overnight) before baking. Take out at least half an hour before baking. Place in a 350 degree oven and bake for about one hour. Remove the foil the last 10 minutes of baking so the top browns nicely.
