Cream Cheese Mints

Recipe submitted by: Diane Schmitt, Fort Atkinson, Iowa

4 oz cream cheese at room temperature
1 tbsp soft butter
2-3 drops of peppermint extract
2 1/2- 3 cups powdered sugar
2-3 drops of food coloring.
Mix and mash the ingredients in a large bowl. Remove from bowl and knead 10 minutes until consistency of pie dough. Roll into small balls and roll in granulated sugar. Press into molds. Remove from mold and place on wax paper to dry overnight.
Freeze well. Makes 30 mints.[[In-content Ad]]
