Plain City, Ohio, May 24, 2010 - Chelsea Brander of Spring Green, Wis., has been chosen as the summer communications intern for Select Sires, Inc. During her time at Select Sires she will be responsible for creating the 2011 breeding calendars along with assisting the sales and marketing team with promotions and communications materials.
Brander is a junior at the University of Wisconsin Madison, majoring in dairy science and life science communications. In Madison, Wis., she serves as the membership coordinator for the Association of Women in Agriculture and the secretary for the Badger Dairy Club. She is looking forward to continuing her role as Badger Dairy Club's show ring co-chair, creating and maintaining the arena and sales areas during the World Dairy Expo.
She grew up on her family's fourth generation, 300-cow dairy farm, Branders Registered Holsteins, where she developed a strong agriculture background and a passion for the dairy industry. Over the years she has been active in FFA, dairy judging and showing cattle.[[In-content Ad]]
